Our Junior Club has grown steadily over the last few years and we anticipate this trend to continue due to the significant growth of numbers participating in the Auskick Clinics and the growing popularity of our game generally.

Positive or Pointless Weekend
May 15th, 2008

This weekend is the AFLQ’s “Positive or Pointless Weekend” where the emphasis on the involvement and comments from parents, spectators and coaches is 100% positive. AFLQ is encouraging us to think about refraining from criticism of players, umpires and coaches and to remember that children are playing and participating in this sport for their enjoyment. We all need to encourage those playing and making the games happen each week.
Let’s all band together and acknowledge and show appreciation for the volunteer coaches, managers, parents and the Morningside JAFC community in general for the invaluable work they do each week to get the juniors onto the field.
Stickers will be distributed to the juniors at training this week together with brochures for the parents.
Let’s all remember that “we are not playing for sheep stations”!!!!
