Cancellation of Fixtures
Due to the unprecedented amount of rainfall received in the past 72 hours AFLBJ has consulted with all clubs that were due to host games and have decided in the interest of player safety to abandon all matches this weekend.
Latest News - AFLBJ Fixtures for this weekend
Morningside Panthers wish to advise members that a final decision will be made at 12.00 noon on Thursday 21 May on all AFL Football in Brisbane by the AFLQ Football Operations Committee. Members will be emailed the details and they will be posted to our website.

ABOUT THE CLUB
Morningside Panthers is an Australian Rules Football Club
based at Jack Esplen Oval in the suburb of Hawthorne in
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The club consists of both
Junior and Senior football sections.
Morningside AFC has operated successfully as a football club in Brisbane for over 50 years and is one of the most widely recognised Queensland based AFL clubs within Australia.
At the beginning of the 2000 season the members of both clubs’ voted unanimously to join and form one united club. This decision was made to strengthen the club socially, financially and to improve the junior player development programmes and created a player path to the elite AFLQ State League competition.
